NCRTC organises Community Interaction Programme (CIP) in Modinagar

Consistent community engagement is significant for the smooth execution of a large-scale public transit project like RRTS. In this endeavour, recently another Community Interaction Programme was organised at Modinagar. The programme saw all-round active stakeholders participation from nearby areas including local residents, hawkers, workers and shopkeepers.

During this interactive session, NCRTC officials sensitized the local citizens about the various dimensions of the RRTS project, construction plan of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, various safety measures and steps that are being taken to minimise any inconvenience to the public during construction.

People were not only thoroughly engaged in the discussions but also made valuable suggestions related to project implementation. While understanding the various socio-economic benefits of the project, people were found to be excited and supportive towards the execution of this computer-centric project.
